

Food and drink cartons (eg soup, milk, juice).Wrapping paper (non-shiny and without any glitter).Telephone directories including Yellow Pages and other catalogues.Shredded paper (please contain in paper bags or cereal boxes when possible).Other paper including clean paper bags.Cardboard – any size (as long as bin lid can close).We do not provide them for additional recycling. Clear recycling sacks are only supplied where wheeled bins cannot be used because of steep steps or difficult access and to residents unable to physically move a wheeled bin.Please write your house name or number on your wheelie bin, in the white rectangle, but please don’t cover our logo.

If you regularly fill up your bin, please request an additional one using the request a container form. We will also collect additional recycling left next to the bin/sacks in plastic carrier bags, cardboard boxes or clear sacks bought from some supermarkets or online. We will collect your recycling from the Council issued bin or Council issued clear sacks.Do not use black sacks, or any other type of sack, as we need to be able to see it's recycling to empty it. Please put your clean, dry recycling loose into your bin.If you live on Stafford Road in Caterham, please put your containers out by 5.30am. Put the bin at the edge of your property by 6am on your recycling collection day, where you normally leave your rubbish bin.We collect your blue lidded recycling wheelie bin (please make sure the lid can close), or clear recycling sacks, from the edge of your property nearest the road every other week.
